Who we are
Helen Wilson, owner and director of Nature's Way Physiotherapy, has been qualified for over 13 years and has worked across a variety of clinical environments, including musculoskeletal clinics, private practice, nursing/care homes and community settings.
She has spent the last 5 years of her career working within care homes and community settings specifically, specialising in the management of neurological and long-term conditions.
Helen set up Nature's Way Physiotherapy to allow her to continue to fulfil her passion of supporting individuals with complex and long-term neurological conditions. She focuses on supporting her patients to manage their condition, optimise their independence and achieve their goals; and doing so in their own environment in the most comfortable way - nature's way.
What is Neurological Physiotherapy?
Neurological Physiotherapy is a specialist branch of Physiotherapy that focuses on disorders of the brain, spinal cord and central nervous system. This includes conditions such as:

- Spinal Cord Injury
- Stroke
- Parkinson's Disease
- Huntington's Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Functional Neurological Disorder
A Physiotherapist can support with these conditions by offering treatment, rehabilitation, education and advice to individuals, alongside their families and care providers, to manage their condition and maximise their independence and quality of life.

Home visits allow for the convenience of professional support in the comfort of your home. This allows sessions to be flexible and adaptable to meet your needs - your physiotherapy should be as individual as you are.
Therapy sessions will be lead by you and can focus on any challenges you face in your own environment, making sessions both functionally appropriate and comfortable.
Working with you at home also means that we have the opportunity to work with your family and support networks to make sure any support given is shared with those involved in your care.
